Tutma: Tuvalet Bul! Terms of Use

Version: 2026-09-05 Last updated: 5 September 2026 Service provider: Exludio, Çankaya, Ayşe Mayda Sk. No: 6, 35280 Konak/İzmir, Türkiye, destek@tutma.app

Tutma is provided by the sole proprietorship of Kayra Demirkan, trading under the commercial name Exludio.

This is an English translation of the Turkish original (Kullanım Koşulları), provided for convenience. In the event of a discrepancy between the two texts, the Turkish version prevails.

By using the Tutma: Tuvalet Bul! ("Tutma") mobile application (the "App") you accept these terms. Before you add content (a photograph, a new toilet listing, a rating) to the App you are asked to approve this text; you cannot submit a contribution without approving it.

1. Description of the service

Tutma is an application that shows public toilets in Türkiye on a map and that allows users to rate those toilets and to add new ones.

Most of the information in the App is created by users and by open data sources (OpenStreetMap). We do not guarantee that a toilet actually exists, that it is open, that it is clean, that it is free of charge or that it is accessible. Use the App being aware of this limitation.

2. Who may use it

  • You may not use the App if you are under 13 years of age.
  • If you are under 18 years of age, you may use the App only with the knowledge and consent of your parent or legal guardian.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account.

3. Content rules: zero tolerance

Zero tolerance applies in the App to offensive content and to users who harass others. You may not submit the following:

  1. Photographs containing a human face or an identifiable person.
  2. Sexual content, nudity, violence, blood or disturbing images.
  3. Insults, hate speech, discrimination, threats or harassment.
  4. Toilet listings that are not real, misleading locations, advertising or spam.
  5. Listings that present private property, a residence or a place that is not open to the public as if it were open to the public.
  6. Photographs to which someone else holds the copyright.
  7. Access information that is not permitted to be shared (door code, key information, etc.). For details see 3.3.
  8. Any content that is contrary to applicable legislation.

3.1 How we moderate

Stage What happens
Automated moderation Every photograph is reviewed automatically before it is published; if a person, personal information or inappropriate content is detected, it is not published.
Report Every toilet listing and every photograph has a "Report" ("Bildir") option.
Blocking When you report a photograph you can select "Hide this user's content" ("Bu kullanıcının içeriklerini gizle"). Places and photographs added by a user you have blocked are no longer shown to you.
Review We review reported content within 24 hours; if it is contrary to the rules we remove it and, where necessary, we close the account of the user who submitted the content.

A photograph that has been reported as offensive is hidden automatically until human review is complete.

3.2 Contact

For your complaints and for any question: destek@tutma.app From inside the App: Profile → Support ("Profil → Destek").

3.3 Access information

Some listings in the App have an access information field (for example a code requested at the door). Tutma does not enter this information; users enter it.

For users who are going to enter the information:

  • You may only enter information whose sharing is not subject to any restriction. When entering the information you are asked to make an express declaration to this effect; without that declaration the information is not saved.
  • It is prohibited for you to enter information that a business gives only to its own customers, keeps confidential or does not want to be shared.
  • This declaration is recorded together with your account and a timestamp. You are responsible for the accuracy of the declaration.

For users who are going to see the information:

  • This information is a user declaration; Tutma does not guarantee its accuracy.
  • You may use the information only within the scope that the relevant business has made available to you. It does not grant a right to enter a place.
  • The information is automatically withdrawn from use after a certain period; Tutma does not keep a permanent archive of access information.

For businesses:

If your business's access information has been shared without your permission, you can report this through the listing in the App with the "I am the business owner, remove it" ("İşletme sahibiyim, kaldır") option. Upon such a report the information is removed immediately, without waiting for human moderation. You can also send the same request to destek@tutma.app.

4. Rights in your content

The photographs you upload and the information you enter belong to you. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable licence to use them so that we may publish them in the App and in the promotion of the App. When you delete your account your photographs are deleted; ratings and toilet listings remain on the map severed from your identity (see the Privacy Policy).

You are deemed to have declared that every photograph you upload belongs to you and that it contains no identifiable person.

5. Location verification

In order to add a new toilet, to rate one and to answer the "is it still there?" question, you must be near that point (within 75 metres). This is the only practical way of preventing made-up listings. If the use of a mock location is detected, the contribution is rejected and the account may be closed.

6. Tutma+ subscription

Subscription name Tutma+

7. What you may not do

  • Querying the App or the API in bulk with automated tools.
  • Copying, reproducing or republishing the data in bulk.
  • Attempting to circumvent security measures, rate limits or location verification.
  • Using someone else's account, or influencing ratings with more than one account.
  • Using the access information in the App outside the scope that the relevant business has made available to you; entering access information without permission or that is confidential.

Accounts that breach these provisions may be closed without warning.

8. Deleting your account

From inside the App: Profile → Delete account ("Profil → Hesabı sil"). On the web: https://tutma.app/hesap-sil

The account is permanently deleted after a 30 day recovery period. For details see the Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is". We are not liable if a place you go to relying on the information in the App is closed, dirty, subject to a charge or inaccessible, nor for the time you lose or for damages connected with this. Our liability is in any event limited to the subscription fee you have paid us in the last 12 months.

This provision does not cover liabilities that legislation does not permit to be limited (death, personal injury, intent or gross negligence).

10. Third party content

11. Changes

We may change these terms. In the case of a material change the version number changes and your approval is requested again before you contribute.
